Mexico: Yucatán - July 2014

Heading to Mexico and the Yucatán peninsula, on the Caribbean Sea side, for a three weeks diving trip in July. On the menu: cenotes in the jungle, Cozumel reef, whale sharks around Isla Mujeres. On the land side: incursions in the Mayan temples.

Wow... Chichén Itzá! (Mexico, Yucatán, July 2014)

The girl who wanted to see the Mayan pyramids

The old stones of Mexico are worth seeing. And Indiana Jones can (still) go get dressed. To me, the mysterious Mayan pyramids!
Diving on the reef of Cozumel, with Sergio Sandoval. Quintana Roo, Mexico, July 2014.

    Colourful dives on Cozumel reef

The Caribbean Sea, it changes Asia! In Mexico, I could not miss the island of Cozumel, renowned diving spot.
Cenote Ponderosa or Jardín del Edén. Beautiful play of light aquatic, between the plant and the mineral. (Mexico, July 2014)

Scuba Diving into The Mysterious Mayan Cenotes

In Mexico, the Yucatán is like a Swiss cheese, pierced by freshwater holes known as "cenotes". Sacred to the Mayans, today they are ideal for bathing... and diving!
Whale shark. Quintana Roo, Mexico. July 2014.

I crossed an ocean for them. Whale sharks gather in July-August off the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico.
